Trim heaters raise gas the last few degrees after primary vaporization, holding delivery temperature within spec when ambient conditions or high draw rates would otherwise send cold gas downstream.
Worth checking: Trim duty is small but not optional — process equipment and pipeline specs commonly set a minimum inlet temperature, and cold gas embrittles the wrong materials.
