Questions buyers ask
What pressure, flow and temperature is it rated for?
This transmitter measures pressures from 5.8 to 348 PSI (minimum to maximum span), with a lower range limit extending to -14.7 PSI for full vacuum capability and a maximum working pressure of 21 MPa. Flow and temperature ratings are not provided in the listing; ask the seller for operating temperature limits and whether any process temperature compensation was configured. Pressure transmitters are sensors, not flow devices—they measure static or differential pressure that may be used to infer flow in some applications.
What should I inspect before putting it into service?
Verify the diaphragm and process connections for damage, corrosion, or residue from previous service; inspect the housing and electrical connections for physical damage or moisture ingress. Test the 4–20 mA output and HART communication across the full span using a calibrated pressure source to confirm accuracy and linearity meet your process requirements. Check that the configured range matches your application, and confirm the power supply polarity and loop resistance are within the 10.5–55 VDC specification limits.
