Description

This is an Airgas Y13-CP720BHF hydrogen switchover manifold system with dual primary regulators, secondary line regulation, and integrated safety shutoffs. It includes a HY-Tech control panel with emergency stop, solenoid valve, excess flow protection, and four stainless steel inner cylinder flex hoses with manual shutoff valves—two at 6 feet and two at 10 feet. The system handles up to 3000 PSI inlet with dual 500 PSIG outlet primaries and 0-500 PSIG secondary regulation, all housed in a Type 4, 4X, 12, 13 enclosure. Max Inlet pressure: 3000PSI 4 hoses, 2 6ft hoses, and 2 10 ft hoses Connection HY-Tech Control Shutoff panel Enclosure type: 4, 4x,12,13 Solenoid valve light Emergency Stop button Air Gas Hoses 2x 6ft Hose 2x10ft Hose 4 each SS Inner cylinder flex hose $$X$$, each hose includes a manual shutoff valve Dual Primary Regulators 500 PSIG outlet Secondary Final Line Regulation 0-500 psig Excess Flow Valve is designed to stop flow if a line rupture or sudden excess flow is detected Main Soleniod, air actuated operated by a on/off Estop Switch to stop flow manually in an emergency Can be tied into a gas detector or Flame Sensor with extra wiring More information: https://www.airgas.com/airgascatalog/catalog/E66_TAG_700.pdf

Questions buyers ask

What pressure, flow and temperature is it rated for?

The system is rated for 3,000 PSI inlet pressure with dual primary regulators delivering 500 PSIG outlet and secondary regulation adjustable from 0-500 PSIG. Flow capacity is not specified in the listing—ask the seller for the regulator CV values and excess flow valve trip point, which will determine maximum deliverable flow. Temperature rating is not provided; hydrogen manifolds of this type typically operate within -20°F to 125°F ambient, but verify the specific ratings with the seller if your application involves temperature extremes.

What gases is it compatible with, and has it been oxygen cleaned?

This system is configured for hydrogen service as indicated by the HY-Tech control panel and model designation. The listing does not state whether it has been oxygen cleaned, and given its hydrogen-specific configuration, it likely has not been. Manifolds dedicated to hydrogen service should not be assumed compatible with oxygen or oxidizing gases without complete material verification, cleaning, and recertification.

What should I inspect before putting it into service?

Verify all regulator diaphragms, seats, and pressure gauges for hydrogen embrittlement or degradation, and pressure-test the entire system to rated pressure using an inert gas before introducing hydrogen. Inspect the excess flow valve for proper function and confirm the trip setpoint matches your application, test the E-stop and solenoid interlock circuit for positive shutoff, and check all flex hose fittings and manual shutoff valves for seat integrity and thread condition. The control panel enclosure should be examined for any moisture ingress or corrosion, and all safety interlocks should be functionally tested before connecting to your gas detection or alarm system.
