Questions buyers ask
What pressure, flow and temperature is it rated for?
This unit measures 0–10 INWCD differential pressure with 9–36 VDC excitation and 4–20 mA output. The listing does not specify temperature range or flow capacity; ask the seller for the full environmental and operating temperature limits, as these vary by sensor design and housing configuration. Differential pressure transducers do not measure flow directly but are commonly used with orifice plates or venturis where flow is calculated from the differential reading.
What should I inspect before putting it into service?
Verify calibration against a known standard across the 0–10 INWCD range, checking both zero and span. Inspect pressure ports for debris or damage, test for leaks at both high and low ports, confirm electrical connections are clean and the 4–20 mA output tracks correctly with applied differential pressure, and verify the unit holds zero with ports equalized. If this was in storage, check that the sensing diaphragm has not stiffened or degraded and that digital compensation circuitry initializes properly on power-up.
