Questions buyers ask

What pressure, flow and temperature is it rated for?

This actuator operates in a 3–15 PSI range. The listing does not specify flow capacity or temperature limits; you'll need to contact the seller for those specifications or consult Fisher documentation for Size 30 spring-opposed diaphragm actuators with 3/4" travel.

What should I inspect before putting it into service?

The listing states this unit must be re-certified before use to ensure proper calibration and safe operation. Inspect the diaphragm for tears, cracks, or material degradation, check the spring for corrosion or fatigue, verify stem travel and linearity across the full 3/4" range, and bench-test the actuator response at multiple pressures within the 3–15 PSI range to confirm it strokes smoothly without binding or hysteresis.
