Questions buyers ask
What pressure, flow and temperature is it rated for?
The listing does not provide pressure class, flow capacity, or temperature range for this unit. Request the actuator spring range, valve body pressure class, trim size, and maximum operating temperature from the seller. Fisher Y692 actuators are typically paired with various valve bodies, so ratings depend on the complete assembly configuration.
What should I inspect before putting it into service?
The listing notes this unit requires re-certification before use. Inspect the diaphragm for cracks or deterioration, verify the actuator spring is intact and correctly ranged, check all fasteners for corrosion, and confirm the valve stem moves freely without binding. Bench test for proper stroke, seat leakage, and calibration against your required control signal range, and verify all elastomers are compatible with your intended service.
