Questions buyers ask

What pressure, flow and temperature is it rated for?

This hose is rated for 280 PSIG. The listing does not specify flow capacity or temperature range; ask the seller for the minimum design metal temperature (MDMT) and maximum flow rate, which depend on the inner corrugation design and insulation type. Cryogenic transfer hoses in this size typically handle LIN, LOX, or LAR at temperatures down to -320°F, but you'll need the manufacturer data plate or spec sheet to confirm.

What should I inspect before putting it into service?

Inspect both flange faces and gasket surfaces for damage, verify the vacuum jacket integrity if applicable (check for frost patterns indicating vacuum loss), and pressure test with dry nitrogen. Check the manufacturer nameplate for the actual MAWP, service rating, and serial number, then verify all fittings are torqued to specification and that proper cryogenic-rated gaskets are installed.
