Questions buyers ask

What pressure, flow and temperature is it rated for?

This hose is rated for 280 PSIG. Flow capacity will depend on the specific inner corrugation design and end fitting geometry, which are not specified in the listing—ask the seller for the CV value or flow curve. Cryogenic transfer hoses in this category are typically rated for service down to liquid nitrogen temperatures (-320°F), though the actual minimum design temperature should be confirmed with the manufacturer's documentation.

What should I inspect before putting it into service?

Verify that both FMPT connections are undamaged with clean threads and intact O-ring grooves, and check the hose body for kinks, crushing, or jacket damage that could compromise the vacuum annulus if it's a vacuum-insulated design. Pressure test the hose before cryogenic service per industry standards, and inspect for any moisture ingress or contamination inside the flow path. Even though the hose is listed as new, confirm the manufacturing date—prolonged storage can degrade elastomeric components if present.
