Description
This is a new, unused 2014 Westport iCE PACK T4 HPDI LNG fuel system, still in the original box, configured for passenger-side mounting. The 120 gallon (450 L) tank module is rated for MAWP 230 psi at 200 F and MDMT -320 F at 230 psi, certified to ASME, NB, U, W, RT-4 standards. The system includes an integrated cryogenic LNG pump, in-shroud vaporizer, hydraulic power module, and driver display, and is designed to deliver fuel directly to Cummins Westport ISL G and ISX12 G engines without pre-warming.
ICE PACK IS COMPATIBLE WITH MULTIPLE ENGINES. Perfectly matched to feed the Cummins Westport ISL G and ISX12 G with the fuel they need. The unit can be used for LNG, and other CRYO gas storage applications. COLDER IS BETTER - ALL LNG STARTS COLD. WARMING IS AN EXTRA STEP. LNG at the liquefaction plant is stored at <1 psi. Other tank system for spark-ignited engines require warming the LNG to >100 psi before dispensing. iCE PACK can take advantage of cold fuel and eliminates the need to warm the fuel prior to dispensing. GUARANTEED FUEL PRESSURE under all conditions. LONGER STORAGE TIMELINE / BETTER RANGE. Cold liquified natural gas (LNG) systems hold more energy in an equivalent volume. MAXIMIZE YOUR PAYLOAD IF USE FOR TRUCKING. Less space required and system weight than equivalent CNG systems.
FASTER FUELING TIMES & FUEL FLEXIBILITY. Fuel at any LNG station with unparalleled speed in fueling using either warm (saturated) or cold LNG. LONGER HOLD TIMES. Up to 10 days, >5 days more compared to other warm LNG tank systems. HYDRAULIC POWER MODULE DRIVER DISPLAY
LNG system information, diagnostics and messages, including: Fuel level, Enhanced diagnostics, Faults (active / inactive)
LNG 120 TANK MODULE
Able to flow tank vapor to engine at idle.
Integrated cryogenic LNG pump
Vaporizer in tank shroud

Questions buyers ask
Is this sized for my peak demand or my average?
This is a complete truck-mounted LNG fuel system, not a stationary vaporizer sized to flow rates. The 120-gallon tank and integrated pump/vaporizer are matched to the fuel consumption profile of Cummins Westport ISL G and ISX12 G natural gas engines, designed to maintain fuel pressure under all engine operating conditions. If you're evaluating this for a different application than heavy-duty trucking, you'll need to confirm the pump flow capacity and vaporizer output with the seller to match against your peak draw.
What gases can it be put into service with, given what it ran before?
This unit is new and unused, still in the original box, so there is no prior service history to constrain reuse. The system is ASME-certified for LNG service with a minimum design metal temperature of -320°F at 230 psi, which qualifies it for cryogenic methane and the seller notes compatibility with "other CRYO gas storage applications." Any alternative cryogenic service would require verifying material compatibility, re-stamping if the design conditions differ, and confirming the vaporizer coil and pump seals are suitable for the intended gas.
What are the installation and utility requirements?
The listing specifies this is configured for passenger-side mounting on Class 8 trucks (Freightliner, Kenworth, Mack, Peterbilt, Volvo, International) as a post-production dealer option. The system includes a hydraulic power module to drive the cryogenic pump and a driver display for fuel level and diagnostics, but the listing does not detail hydraulic flow/pressure requirements, electrical power for the display, or engine integration harnesses. Ask the seller for the installation manual, hydraulic specifications, and whether mounting hardware and wiring harnesses are included.
What should I inspect on a used vaporizer before buying?
This unit is new and unused, so typical used equipment inspection concerns—coil leaks, fin damage, ice buildup evidence, or pressure drop degradation—do not apply here. Verify the tank's ASME certification nameplate is intact and legible, confirm the original box shows no impact damage that could have stressed the vacuum-insulated tank, and check that all system components (pump, vaporizer, hydraulic module, display) are present. Request documentation showing the tank has remained sealed and under vacuum since manufacture, as any loss of insulation vacuum would require costly re-evacuation before the system can hold cryogenic temperatures.
