Description
Complete mobile LNG vaporization system consisting of two trailers: a 16,700-gallon, 113-PSIG storage trailer and a fully automated ambient vaporizer trailer with dual vaporizers, trim heater, and PLC control panel. Designed for 24/7 operation in harsh climates, the system delivers natural gas at 30–40 PSIG and 60°F to 100°F, automatically switching between vaporizers on 8-hour cycles or parallel operation during extended freezing conditions. Recently recertified with rebuilt controls and ready for immediate deployment.
The system includes 2 trailers: a 16,700-gallon, 113-PSIG mobile LNG transport / LNG storage trailer that feeds ambient vaporizer trailer equipped with 2 ambient vaporizers and a trim heater, all controlled by an integrated PLC automation panel.
Storage Capacity: 16,700 gallons
Storage Pressure: 113 PSIG
Delivery Pressure Range: 30–40 PSIG
Delivery Temperature: 60°F to 100°F
Operating Ambient Temperature: -40°F to +105°F
Humidity Design: 85% relative humidity
Environmental Design Reference: 7-week freeze period (no thaw) – Zip Code 03866 (New Hampshire)
Two ambient vaporizers operate in alternating 8-hour cycles.
The PLC automatically switches between vaporizers to allow one to defrost while the other operates.
When ambient temperature remains below freezing for 24 hours or more, the PLC activates parallel operation of both vaporizers for increased flow and reliability.
Once ambient temperature rises above freezing, the system reverts to individual cycling.
Automated PLC system manages vaporizer sequencing, valve control, and temperature response.
Battery Backup (UPS): Provides 30 minutes of operational power for system control and one light fixture in the event of a power failure, ensuring continuity during brief outages.
The entire system has recently gone through full recertification and control rebuild. It is ready to be deployed for immediate service.
Ideal for remote LNG fueling, temporary gas supply, peak shaving, or industrial backup gas service where mobile, automated, and weather-resilient vaporization is required.
Questions buyers ask
What capacity and product purity does it produce?
The system stores 16,700 gallons of LNG and delivers natural gas at 30–40 PSIG and 60°F to 100°F. Product purity is not specified in the listing; if your application requires specific BTU content, moisture limits, or oxygen contamination thresholds, ask the seller for gas composition data from recent operation or regasification testing. Ambient vaporizers themselves do not alter product purity—they only perform phase change—but carryover from the storage tank or ingress during prior service can affect composition.
How long was it in service, how long has it been down, and how was it preserved?
The listing states the system recently underwent full recertification and control rebuild but does not specify original commissioning date, total operating hours, or time out of service. There is no mention of nitrogen blanketing, vapor hold, or other preservation methods during idle periods. Ask the seller for operating history, the date of last active LNG service, and how the storage vessel and vaporizers were maintained while offline.
What is realistically involved in relocating and re-erecting it?
The system consists of two highway-transportable trailers and is described as ready for immediate deployment, suggesting minimal field assembly beyond connection of LNG transfer piping, electrical service, and gas outlet tie-in. The listing does not address DOT inspection status, tire/brake condition, or whether the trailers can be legally towed as-is. Verify current DOT certification, confirm the PLC retains its program and calibration after transport, and plan for startup purging, leak testing, and vaporizer performance verification before committing to flow.
